Enrichment Activities April 6-10
April 6- 10 Library Activity: Arrange 3 groups of items in alphabetical order. For example, One group of items could be cereal boxes. Pull them out and arrange the cereal boxes in ABC order. Other items could include books (remember to go by the author’s last name), canned items, video games, movie cases, etc. Feel free to write these items down in a list using your best handwriting. Which of your 3 groups had the most items?
Purpose of Activity: Books located in our Fiction and Easy Section of the library uses the author's last name, arrange in alphabetical order. We talked in past classes; if books begin with the same letter you will need to look at the next letter. The alphabet is a HUGE part of our library.
