Enrichment Activities May 11-15
Library: Identify a problem in your everyday life, such as an undesired chore. List one or two of these problems. Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a machine to do this awful chores! You are going to invent a machine to do this chore. Draw a picture/diagram of this machine and the purpose this machine will serve. Please save your work to use with next week’s lesson.
Purpose: To spark student's investigative spirit, promote creativity, help them think through problems, and express their ideas through building things. This process stimulates young people’s interest in math, science, and engineering. It also connects the process of invention to their everyday lives.
