Superintendent's Goals

 

Superintendent Objective Performance Goals: 2025 - 2026

 

Goal 1

Student Growth and Achievement

Superintendent develop a curriculum cycle of review, assessment, adoption and publish math, science, and ELA. Additionally, he will develop a system of data inquiry and related assessment calendar K-12, and a systematic approach to use of student performance data K-12 by June 30, 2025.

 

Goal 2

Organizational Leadership

The Superintendent will develop a professional education committee and collaborative professional development plan.  This plan will reflect a collaboratively needs-based professional development for all staff by June 30, 2025.

The Superintendent will lead and complete the PASD comprehensive plan. (November 2025)

 

Goal 3

District Operations and Financial Management

The Superintendent will review and assess District policies for current considerations and accounting. He will present two policies of priority per month, 20 total, with an overall analysis and status of priorities by June 30, 2025.

 

Goal 4

Communication and Community Relations

The Superintendent will attend and participate in community organizations, including Chamber of Commerce, Regional Collaborative, and Rotary (1-2 meetings per month).  Additionally, he will conduct meetings on a scheduled frequency with Superintendent Advisory Council, Support Staff Council, Parent Advisory Council, Student Advisory Group (3-4 meetings per year by June 30..

 

Goal 5

Human Resources Management

The Superintendent will develop and manage a refined hiring process.  Additionally, he will develop and manage partnerships for educator recruitment (job fairs, universities, electronic communication or other outreach) and facilitate or participate in two recruitment events.  Additionally, he will develop and facilitate professional development plan for district leadership team.  This plan will address current needs and will span three years to maintain focus, consistency and determination.

 

Goal 6

Professionalism

The Superintendent will attend three events (including, but may include change on need):

  • PASA superintendent induction program
  • Knox Law legal symposium (free),
  • PASA Conference or Participation in PA Association of Rural and Small Schools or similar professional associations that offer future-focused advisement.
