Bench Dedication at PAHS

Earlier this week, a group of students, staff, administrators, and special guests gathered in the PAHS Library to dedicate a new bench in memory of Mr. Gerald Gigliotti, who served our district for many years as an educator and Director of Instructional Technology. Mr. Gigliotti's wife, Dr. Amy Peace Gigliotti, DMD, joined us for the dedication. The bench was designed and built by Mr. Chad Stiteler and his students. PAHS Track Community Use

Starting March 25, 2022, the High School track will be open for community use after school until dark while school is in session; however, sporting events and practices take priority and no public use is available until sporting events/practices are over. Weekend hours for the track are Saturday 7am – 7pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm. (The security gates close at 7pm on Saturday and 4pm on Sunday.)

PAHS Auditorium Renamed

The Punxsutawney Area High School Auditorium has been renamed the James A. Colonna Performance Hall. This name change is in remembrance to long time band director and teacher James Colonna for his service at PAHS.

Emergency Broadband Benefit

Attention Parents, Guardians, and Community Members: The Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) is a temporary FCC program designed to help households struggling to afford internet service during the pandemic. Through EBB, eligible households could TEMPORARILY receive up to $50/month discount for broadband services and a one-time discount of up to $100 for a laptop, desktop computer, or tablet purchased through a participating provider.
