Hello,
    My name is Mrs. Jodi Bartlebaugh but most of my students refer to me as Mrs. B.  I will be teaching second grade math at the Punxsutawney Area Elementary School.  I am eagerly anticipating all the wonderful things that will be happening this year.  We are going to have a great school year!

     Let me tell you a little about myself.  I am originally from Punxsutawney. I graduated from PHS in 1999.  I attended Indiana University Of Pennsylvania and graduated in December of 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in elementary education.  I was hired in the Punxsutawney Area School District in 2004.  My first teaching assignment was first grade at Mary A. Wilson.  I began working on my Master's Degree in 2004 and graduated from Gannon University in 2006 with a Master's Degree in curriculum instruction and design.  I remained at Mary A. Wilson as one of the first grade teachers until its closure in the spring of 2009.  I spent the next four years teaching first grade at Jenks Hill Elementary.  Next, I taught third grade at Bell Township Elementary School.  I am now in my nineteenth year of teaching.  This will be first year as a second grade teacher.  
    

     Bill, my husband of twenty years, and I live in Punxsutawney with our 15 year old daughter, Isabella, our 11 year old son, Wesley.  In my free time I enjoy reading, playing games, riding four wheelers, and spending time with my family and friends.  My favorite color is blue.  Watermelon, grapes, and tacos are my favorite foods.   
 
   I am super excited about the opportunity to teach second grade.  This year your child will have many exciting and fun opportunity to learn.  I am looking forward to working as partners to ensure your child has a wonderful second grade year.
