Distance Learning Resources
Welcome to my Distance Learning Resources Page. I am very excited to embark on this new learning adventure with you and your child. This page will contain online resources that will review and enrich what we've learned in third grade this year. I will be in contact via phone and email during this time. I will have designated office hours Monday - Friday 9:30 - 11:00 as well as 1:00 - 2:30 that I will be available for immediate feedback to questions and concerns you may have. As always, your child's success is very important to me. With that being said, the following activities will be used for reteaching and enrichment and are strongly encouraged, but not mandatory. These activities are in NO WAY meant to add any confusion or stress to our already stressful lives during this uncertain time. Please know that I am here for you and your child. I am certain we will need to make adjustments as we move through this new journey together. Please be sure to have access your email and monitor it daily for updates.
Directions for Accessing Your Child's Google Classroom
I will be sending you an email that will invite you to Google Classroom.
- From your email, accept the invitation.
- You will see a box that says "Get Classroom Email Summaries", click accept.
- If you already have a gmail account, you will need to click "Switch Account". Then click "Use Another Account".
- You will now be prompted to put in your child's email address. Use the following format. [email protected] then click next. For example, [email protected]
- Next you will be prompted to enter their password. Use the following format. first initial, last initial, number 0, lunch number. For example, jb012345
- From here you will be asked to accept Classroom Email Summaries, click Accept
- Finally, you will see a box that says Google Classroom invitation accepted!
