GoNoodle gets kids moving to be their smartest, strongest, bravest, silliest, bestest selves. Short, interactive movement videos and games make it awesomely simple and fun to incorporate movement into every part of the day with dancing, stretching, running and mindfulness activities. At school, teachers use GoNoodle to keep students energized, engaged, and active inside the classroom. At home, GoNoodle turns screen time into active time, so families can have fun and get moving together.

GoNoodle is free — but parents need to create an account to access it. I encourage you to check out it out and allow your kids to jump around and get some of that energy out while, of course, having fun.

I have another great resource to share with you today. I discovered a FREE collection of over 200 books that your child can read to keep their reading skills sharp. Some of these titles are in our Book-in-a-Bag bins too! While it is certainly not required, if your child wants to read these titles you can record one a day on your child's Book-in-a-Bag sheet to keep them working toward their goal. If you fill your sheet, just write down the additional books they complete on another paper and keep it in their bag. Happy Reading!

Google’s Geo Tools aren’t just about geography. You can use them to trace Marco Polo’s journey through Asia, to explore the architecture of Barcelona, to measure how Alaska’s glaciers have receded, or to analyze the habitat of the Cameroon grassland frog. Geospatial thinking has transformed our perceptions of the World around us, and how we address issues such as climate change on and the protection of wildlife.

Education is more than learning: It’s a journey of discovery. Let’s start exploring together.
