Hello! My name is Daeva Pounds and I am a fourth grade, ELA teacher. This year is going to be amazing!

I graduated from IUP in 2020 with a degree in Special Education PreK-8 and Regular Education PreK-4. I earned my Master's in Health & Physical Education from IUP in the Spring of 2025. I love to learn and look forward to teaching you. I have always wanted to be a teacher and am very passionate about

When I am not teaching, I enjoy hiking, reading, watching sports (especially the Pens), and spending time with my husband-Zachery, dog,-Marty, and cat-Evgeni.
