Hello! My name is Krista Lowry and I am the kindergarten teacher at Bell Township Elementary. I am very excited to start my third year of teaching! Teaching kindergarten has always been a dream of mine, so I am proud to say that I finally have my dream job!
I am a 2013 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor's degree in both Early Childhood and Special Education. I began my teaching career by working as a day-to-day substitute in the Punxsy Area School District in 2013-2014. At the end of that school year, I was hired to be a long-term substitute at Bell Township as the kindergarten teacher. I then decided to serve as an AmeriCorps teacher during the 2014-2015 school year at Bell Township. I am also the long distance running coach for the girls Middle School Track and Field team.
In my spare time, I enjoy running, working out, and curling up on the couch with my over weight chihuahua and a good book!
