We would like to officially invite the community to our Military and First Responders Football Game. It will be held on Friday September 5th at Jack LaMarca Stadium, home of the Punxsutawney Chucks!
Honoring Our Military and First Responders
We will host a tailgate at 5:30. All military personnel and first responders are welcome. Food and entry to the game are free for all military and first responders.
We ask that all military personnel and first responders meet at the scoreboard side of the home bleachers at 6:30 to be recognized before the game. VFW Post 2076 will lead the processional. Kick-off is at 7:00.
Limited Edition Chucks Apparel Sale: Military and First Responders Night
This year, the Punxsutawney Chucks Football Team will be wearing their new military-themed alternate jerseys for the game. As a show of extra pride and unity, we are selling matching shirts for this special occasion. These shirts are being offered to students, faculty, staff, and the entire community for purchase.
If your group is interested in purchasing multiple shirts, we ask that you submit a bulk order for easier processing. For example, instead of each individual officer submitting an order themselves – one officer collect the money for the entire group and submit the order together. This isn’t required, but it would certainly help with processing the orders.
You can order the military and first responders shirts using the link below or by scanning the QR Code in the flyer at the bottom of this page. Please note that you don’t have to order a shirt to attend the event. We just wanted to make they were available for all participants and fans.

PLEASE NOTE: Orders for the Military and First Responders Game apparel must be submitted by: August 24th in order for the orders to be processed in time for the game.
