Program Description

The high school life skills class is designed to maximize independence and prepare students to enter the “real world” after graduation. The approach to classroom instruction is that students "learn by doing" so many of our learning activities are hands-on and involve modeling or role-playing. Age-appropriate skills are taught during our reading, math and community living classes. We also work on transition activities both in the classroom and community to prepare students for the "real world" after graduation.
