School Resource Officer Program
On Feb 1, 2019, PASD will have a Punxsutawney Borough Police Officer present at both PAHS and PAES for the safety and security of both students and staff. The officer will be present for the entire school day and will assist the district in creating a safe school climate in each building. In addition, officers will also be present at selected extracurricular activities for both school buildings to ensure student and crowd attendees’ safety. The district looks forward to working closely with our local police force to enhance campus safety as we move forward with this new collaboration.
