Welcome! My name is Mrs. Belinda Medsger. This is my seventh year teaching language arts in the Punxsutawney Area School District. I taught at Mapleview Elementary before the consolidation. Prior to that, I taught preschool for more than 10 years. I graduated from Clarion University with a dual certification in Early Childhood / Elementary Education. In 2016, I received my Masters in Education with a Reading Specialist Certification from Clarion University.

My family is the most important thing in the world to me. I have three wonderful children. My oldest daughter lives in Pittsburgh. She is a county case worker for Allegheny County. My middle daughter attends Clarion University. She is a Golden Eagle Cheerleader and is studying to be an elementary / special education teacher. She will graduate this year. My son attends Westminster College. He plays football for the Titans and is majoring in Criminal Justice. My husband is a retired Pennsylvania State Police Lieutenant. He is currently a real estate agent in Punxsutawney. I am happiest when I get to be with my family.
