    Punxsutawney Area School Board Vacancy The Punxsutawney Area School Distict is seeking candidates to fill a School Board vacancy in Region III: McCalmont and Young Townships.     The Punxsutawney Area School District uses SchoolMessenger to send text alerts regarding special announcements, emergencies, delays, closings, and other important notification events.  In order to receive these notifications, you must register at the beginning of each school year.  PLEASE NOTE: All registrations received prior to September 22, 2016, have been cleared from the system; therefore, you must complete the new registration survey in order to receive notifications for the 2016-2017 school year!  Click HERE for more important details and to reregister.

    There is a significant change to the transportation provided by the Punxsutawney Area School District for students that ride different buses on bus passes. Click here to download and print copies of the Student Transportation Form, Alternative Bus Stop Request Form and Daily Bus Pass Form.
