Easter Egg Phil
PAHS, home of the Chucks, sits atop the town of Punxsutawney in north central Pennsylvania and houses grades 8-12.  We are proud to once again be on the forefront of education in the 2014-2015 school year by continuing the 21st Century Learning Initiative in grades 9 through 12.

  • kids  Kindergarten Orientation & Registration
    An evening orientation is being planned to prepare parents for registering their child for Kindergarten 2015. Parents and/or family members of a prospective Kindergarten student that will turn 5 years of age before June 1, 2015, are invited to attend a brief, but very informative orientation meeting on Wednesday, April 15th, at the Punxsutawney Middle School Cafeteria. The orientation is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.  For more information, click on the link below and download the flier!

    Summer Maintenance Help - $7.25/hr.
    Must be enrolled in a an accredited post secondary education program. Applicants should submit in one envelope, a letter of interest, Punxsutawney Area School District application (can be found on PASD's website www.punxsy.k12.pa.us), and three signed letters of recommendation less than one year old to: Susan Robertson, Business Administrator, Punxsutawney Area School District, 475 Beyer Avenue, Punxsutawney, PA 15767 by 3:30 on April 3, 2015.  Act 24, 34, 114, 126, 151, and 168 clearances, physical and pre-employment drug test will be required if hired.
