 | Memorial Day There is no school on Monday, May 27, in observance of Memorial Day. |
 | Senior Picnic at Kennywood The senior class trip to Kennywood Park is on Tuesday, May 28. Bring money for food/games. Your tickets and bus costs have been paid for; all seniors should report to 1st pd. for attendance – then on an announcement will report to Gym A before boarding the buses. All school rules apply. Students with bags and purses will be searched prior to boarding the buses. All food containers from home should be commercially sealed. Fresh fruit is not permitted. You will return around 7:30 PM. |
 | Awards Day The Awards Day Assembly will be on Thursday, May 30 in the auditorium at approximately 2:00. The periods on Thursday will be: 1-2-3-8-4-5-6-7-A. Seniors should dress up for this day of recognition (girls wear dresses, guys wear dress slacks, shirt & tie) & ALSO have their graduation caps & gowns for the assembly. Seniors will be having Commencement practice in the morning. |
 | Commencement 2013 Commencement is Friday, May 31 at 7 PM. The Post Graduation Party is scheduled after commencement from 9 PM until 2 AM. Seniors will have Commencement practice Friday morning and will be dismissed from school before lunch. Seniors will receive report cards, honor cards, transcripts, health records & 4 Commencement tickets on Friday. |
 | Collecting Student Laptops All student laptops will be collected in the library in the next two weeks. Freshmen will return laptops on May 24. Sophomores will return computers on May 28 and Juniors will return theirs on May 29. Students are reminded to back up their information and important files on their network accounts or removable storage devices. Over the summer months, the machines will be erased and new software installed. All students must turn in their laptop, charger and case when their homeroom is called to the library. |
 | Last Student Day The last day of school for underclassmen is Monday, June 3rd. The periods will be: 1st - 7:45-8:13 2nd - 8:17-8:41 3rd – 8:45-9:09 6th – 9:13-9:37 7th – 9:41-10:05 8th – 10:09-10:33 A, 4A – 10:37 – 11:07 4B, B, 5A – 11:11-11:41 5B, C – 11:45-12:15 |
 | STUDENT LAPTOP SURVEY 2012-13 Beginning May 21, all students in grades 9-12 must complete a student laptop survey before turning in the laptop for the summer. This survey is designed to collect data for the district in regard to the 21st Century Laptop Initiative that 9-12 students have participated in this year. Please answer the questions to the best of your ability and knowledge. Please find time to complete the survey during a study hall or activity period before you hand in your laptop.
