Welcome to the Punxsutawney Area School District Elementary Schools' page. Students in grades K - 3 attend school at one of the six elementary buildings within our district.   Although each individual building has its own unique qualities, there is a common goal among everyone who is entrusted with the education of young children.  Each staff member hopes to lay the foundation for a lifetime of successful learning.  Please check back often to see our updates!

Get Text Alerts On Your Cell Phone!
Stay up-to-date on the latest weather-related delays and school closings with the SchoolReach notification system.
Click HERE for more important details and to register.  SchoolReach is used for school delay/closing notifications as well as for attendance and other important notification events.  All registrations received during the 2011-2012 school year will be purged from the system; therefore, it is important to complete the registration survey in order to receive notification for the 2012-2013 school year. All information and contact numbers are strictly secure and confidential and are only used for the purposes described.

When used, the service will call all phone numbers in our selected contact lists and will deliver a voice or text message from a school administrator.  The problem with Verizon Wireless cell phones not receiving text messages has been corrected; therefore, school closing and delay information will only be sent by text message.  Parents, students, and staff should not rely on SchoolReach as the only means of notification about school closings and delays.
