Punxsutawney Middle School, containing grades four through seven, shares the campus area with the Punxsutawney High School. The Middle School complex is the newest building in the school district and houses the district's Natatorium, which is used by students and the community throughout the year.  Middle School students have swimming classes, and the pool is open for the public during non-school hours for adult swim times as well as family swim events.  Visitors are welcomed to the entrance of PAMS by a specially-created Phantastic Phil.

Get Text Alerts On Your Cell Phone!
Stay up-to-date on the latest weather-related delays and school closings with the SchoolReach notification system.  Click HERE for more important details and to register.  SchoolReach is used for school delay/closing notifications as well as for attendance and other important notification events.  All registrations received during the 2011-2012 school year will be purged from the system; therefore, it is important to complete the registration survey in order to receive notification for the 2012-2013 school year. All information and contact numbers are strictly secure and confidential and are only used for the purposes described.

When used, the service will call all phone numbers in our selected contact lists and will deliver a voice or text message from a school administrator.  The problem with Verizon Wireless cell phones not receiving text messages has been corrected; therefore, school closing and delay information will only be sent by text message.  Parents, students, and staff should not rely on SchoolReach as the only means of notification about school closings and delays.
